66 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Five Minutes"

You could hear this rhythm in a place with several clocks; actually i got this 'clock rhythm' idea after hearing a cool beat made by three clocks. Sounds used found in the "clock tick rhythms pack.

Five minutes of rain, artificially created. Using a blue yeti usb condenser mic on the cardioid pattern, i made a 30-minute recording of sounds from my sink (drips, splashes, different faucet pressures) and cut them up into 60 files, later edited down to 20. These were layered together and mixed with white, pink, and brownian noise. Slight noise removal done. Recorded some basic mic noise, and used a subtractive processor (reafir in reaper) to remove that sound from the final mix. Convolution reverb was added for a fairly realistic set-it-and-forget-it option. I've uploaded a dry version as well.

I put my recorder in a grandfather clock and waited the half-hour chime. Sorry, i don't have more sound recordings about hours. Recorded with tascam dr-100mkii.

Broadmoor hospital siren test. The broadmoor siren. Every monday morning at ten o'clock the deafening sound of an air-raid siren disturbs the peace over a large area of the leafy commuter belt that is berkshire, uk. The signal sounds the familiar alternating high-low note, followed by a constant all-clear note five minutes later. It's not a re-enactment of the blitz; it's a test of the escape alarm at the local mental hospital, broadmoor.

Five glorious minutes of the sound of ducks! recorded on the woodland lakes holiday park near thirsk in yorkshire. Over 100 mallard ducks descend onto a small man-made lake in the midst of the holiday cabins and then proceed to quack loudly and splash about in the water. anyone who reminds you of your past, has no place in your future. it really helps to shut people up, when that needs to happen. I wish i could recall where i heard this; a web search didn't yield anything. Enlightenment as to its source would be appreciated. I asked my partner to express it for me.
